Manage companies
Group your users by the customer account they belong to and track company-level attributes.
See feedback in the context of the account it came from. Companies group your users by the customer they belong to, so you can spot when your biggest accounts are asking for the same thing.
Overview
Companies are first-class objects in Quackback, not only a tag on a user. Every user can be linked to a company, so you can see feedback, votes, and activity rolled up by account instead of by individual.
Access the companies directory from Admin → Users, then switch to All companies in the sidebar. Select a company to open its profile.
Note:
The companies directory lives inside the Users page, alongside the All users and All leads views.
The companies directory
The directory lists every company with users linked to it. Click a company to open its profile, which shows:
- Company details - plan, size, industry, and website
- Custom attributes you've configured
- The users linked to this company
Companies come from two sources: created automatically as user data flows in through the API, or added manually from the dashboard.
Custom company attributes
Define custom attributes for companies at Admin → Settings → Companies. These work like user attributes but describe the account instead of the individual - things like contract value, renewal date, or account owner.
Supported types: text, number, boolean, date, and currency.
Tip:
Use company attributes for anything that's true of the whole account, like plan tier or MRR. Use user attributes for anything that varies by person.
Target companies with segments
Segments can filter on company data, not only user data. Built-in fields - plan, monthly spend, size, and industry - plus any custom company attributes you've defined are available in the segment rule builder.
Combine company and user conditions in the same segment, for example "Enterprise plan" and "hasn't logged in for 30 days" together, to find accounts at risk of churn.
